Williams Oil Company. <br /> <br /> On motion of Mr. Barnes and seconded by Mr. Gray, to <br />concur with the recommendation of the Planning Commission that <br />UP-88-8 be approved~on first reading and Was adoptedb~ <br /> <br /> (d) UP-88'9 DOWNTOWN NEIGHBORHOOD - Use permit <br /> application of Effingham Street YMCA <br /> "~ ~'- Board, by~Dav:i:d M. Norman, Executive <br /> Director'of:the Community Services <br /> Board, for a 32 bed substance abuse <br /> rehabilitati:on program at 750 C}ifford <br /> Street. ~ <br /> <br /> Mayor Webb abstained from voting on the item, because of <br />her membership on the Board. <br /> <br /> Vice MayOr Gray chaired the meeting during this item. <br /> <br /> On motion of Mr. Barnes and seconded by Mrs. Lucas, to <br />concur with the recommendation of the Planning Commission that <br />UP-88-9 be approved on first reading and was adopted by <br />unanimous vote. ': <br /> <br /> (e) ,CA;88-1' CODE AMENDMENT ;-Ah amendmentrto <br /> Section 40-307 of the City Code <br /> pertaining to the public hearing <br /> prOcedure of the WetIands Board~ <br /> <br /> On motion of Mr. Gray and seconded by Mr. Simpson, to <br />concur with'the recommendation of the Planning CommisSion that <br />CA-88-1 be approve!d'on~first reading and was adopted-by <br />unanimous vote. <br /> <br /> (f) CA-88-2 CODE AMENDMENT[; An amendment to Section <br /> 40-209 of the City Code pertai-ning, to <br /> the Board of Zoning Appeal fee change <br /> ,from $20 to $50. <br /> <br /> On motion of Mrs. Lucas and seconded by Mr. Barnes, to <br />concur with the recommendation of.the Planning Commission that <br />CA-88-1 be approved on first reading and was adopted by, <br />unanimous vote. <br /> <br />(g) CA-88-3 <br /> <br />CODE AMENDMENT . An amendment to SeCtion <br />40-68 of the City Code pertaining to the <br />uses in the Industrial M-1 District. <br /> <br /> On motion of Mr. Simpson and seconded by Mrs. Lucas, to <br />concur with the recommendation of the Planning Commission that <br />CA-88-2 be approved on first reading and was adopted by <br />unanimous vote. ' <br /> <br /> (h) CA-88-5 CODE AMENDMENT - An amendment to Section <br /> 40-55 of the City Code perta,ining to the <br /> extension of group ~housing Projects. <br /> <br /> Jessie Overton, 82 Ericsson Street, spoke concerning the <br />proposed amendment. <br /> <br /> On motion of Mr. Hawks and seconded by Mrs. Lucas, to <br />approve this item 'on first reading and directing the City <br />Attorney to revise the amendment pertaining to duration and <br />time for filing for an extension.' <br /> <br /> <br />
