Cox, has.made application pursuant <br />Section 40~69 ~b).of the Code of. the~City~of.Portsmouth, . <br />Virginia, 1973, for~th¢ granting of a~use, permit as . <br />hereinafter-de~crib~d;.and ~ _ ~ <br /> <br />to <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the applicant and the Planning Director have done <br />all things required to be done in connection with said <br />application; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the Planning Commission has recommended the <br />granting of said use permit, with conditions. <br /> <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the council of the City <br />of Portsmo~th,.V~rginia: <br /> <br />1. That the use for which the use permit is sought: <br /> <br />(a)~ ~ilLnot adversely af.fect the health and safety, of <br />residing or working in the neighborhood of the proposed <br /> <br /> (b)~ Will~not be detrimental to the public use or <br />injurious to the property or improvements in the neighborhood; <br />and <br /> <br /> (c) Will be ~n accordance with the purposes o~ the <br />Zoning Chapter of the City Code. <br /> <br /> 2. Raymond L. Cox is hereby granted a use permit pursuant <br />to Section 40-69 (b) of the Code of the City of Portsmouth, <br />Virginia, to operate an Automobile and Truck Parts Recyclin9 <br />Facility, as that term is defined in Section 40-31 of said <br />Code, on 1.1 acres at 3412 and 3500 George Washington Highway, <br />such parcels being more particularly described as Tax Map 133, <br />Parcels 7 and 8 (UP-88-5). <br /> <br /> 3.
