Motion of Mr. Gray and seconded by Mr. Barnes to concur with the reco~m.e~nd~ion of the~l~nh.~ng~ CDmmission-that~5 UP-88-13 be approved on first reading and ~as adopted by unanimous vote. (b) UP-88-16 CHURCHLAND NEIGHBORHOOD - Use permit application of Academy Crossing Associates, owner, by Carry E. Adams, Regional Real Estat~e Manager for Kinder Care Learning Center, Inc., for a day care center on Churchland Boulevard and formerly known as the Churchland Academy. Mr. Ralph Buxton, P. O. Box 1475, spoke in support of the use permit application. Mr. Gary E. Adams, 5205 Leesburgh Pike, Falls Chnrch, VA, representing Kinder C~re Learningi Centers,~Inc., spoke~ i~ support of the use permit application. Motion of Mr. Barnes and seconded by Mr. Simpson, to concur with the recommendation of the Planning Commission that UP-88-16 be approved on first reading and was adopted by unanimous vote. (c) GHP-85-19 DOWNTOWN NEIGHBORHOOD - REQUEST FOR MODIFICATION OF GROUP HOUSING PERMIT - Group housing project application of Colubmia Place Corporation, by Alan C. Jensen, President and General Partner, to modify the design of two buildings and the site layout.
