Herbert Simpson, George L. Hanbury, II, City Manager, Stuart E. Katz, Cit~ Attorney Absent: ~ Jack P. Barnes, E. G. Isle of Wight Resolution 90-2 - Motion of Mr. Hawks and seconded by Mr. Simpson, to go into Executive Session pursuant to the provisions of Section 2.1-344 of the~ Code of Virginia, for the purpose of: (1) Consultation with the City Attorney and briefing by staff members pertaining to a legal matter regarding the Department of Public Utilities as permitted under Subsection (A) (7): (2) Consultation with the City Attorney and briefing by staff m~mbers involving actual litigation regarding the boundary dispute as permitted under Subsection (A) (7); (3) Consideration of salaries of public employees at the L-2 Step as permitted under Subsection (A) (1); (4) Consultation with legal counsel and briefing by staff members i~olving acthal litigation regarding the Chur~hland ! High School, and potential litigation for the boat ramp and a zoning matter as Permitted under Subsection (A) (7); (5)~Con.sultati~n with th~ City Attorney and briefing by staff o~ ~ legal m~tter involving King's Crossing as permitted under Subsection (A) (7); and (6)~' Consultation with the ~ity Attorney and briefing by staff on a legal matter involving the Western Freeway as permitted under Subsection (A) (7); (~) Consideration of appointments to Boards and Commissions by the City Council as permitted under Subsection (A) (1); Motion adopted by unanimous vote.
