'The-property . would be used as additional yard.~ The parcel is, unbuildabl~ since it contains a large drainage ditch. "A RESOLUTION ACCEPTING THE BID FROM PHYLLIS B. HUNNICUTT TO PURCHASE A TRIANGULAR JIB OF CITY-OWNED PROPERTY ON LOUISA AVENUE; AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO CONVEY. WHEREAS, the City owns certain hereinafter-described triangul~ar parcel located on Lou±sa A~enue~ which ,property declared to be e~cess property; and WHEREAS, pursuant to the Charter of the City of~Portsm~th said property has been advertised for sale; and WHEREAS, thee'highest Did received was from P~yllis,+B.~ Hunnicutt in the sum of $250; and ~.~ · WHEREAS, the Council of the City of Portsmouth deems it to be in the ,best interests of the City to sell said pmope~rt~.~=..~ NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Council of the City of Portsmouth,-~irgin~a, that the, 7~i-d~uf'Phyllis B~Hunnicutt to purchase a trian~ula~ib locate_d~oa Louisa Avenue for the,~um of $250 be, and the same hereby is, accepted. Hunnicutt: Beginning at the southwestern right-of-way intersection of Louisa Avenue and Columbia Street, thence along the western right-of-way of Louisa Avenue south 1- 41' 08" east a distance of 108.50' to the true point of beginning; thence contihuing alon~ the western r~ght-of-way of Louisa Avenue south 1- 41' 08" east a~distance of 35.00' to a point; thence north 61' 25' 15" west a distance of 69.47' to a point; thence north 88' 19' 25" east a distance of 60.00' to the true poin~ of beginning.
