WHEREAS, said property is no longer required for public purposes and is, hereby, declared to be excess property; and WHEREAS, the Council of the City of Portsmouth deems it to be in the best int~r~s~ of. the Ci~ to cDovey that: portion~ of Portland Street to the Portsmouth Port and Industrial Commission in conjunction with, and as a part of, a conveyance of that parcel of property for which City-Council ha~ preuiously authorized a sale to the Portsmouth Port and Indus~rial~ ,.~ Commission by its Resolution of December 8, 1987.
