E~ Katz, City Attorney <br /> <br />90-196 - The following call f~or the meeting was read: <br /> <br /> "Please attend a Called Meeting of the City Council to be <br />held in the City Council Conference Room, 6th floor of City <br />Hall, 801 Crawford Street, Tuesday, May 22, 19~0, at 4:30 p.m., <br />for the purpose of a Public Work Session and quarterly meeting <br />with the School Board. <br /> <br /> In addition you may consider a motion to go into an <br />Executive Session. <br /> <br />By order of the Mayor." <br /> <br /> 90-197 - The following item was discussed in the Public <br />Work Session: <br /> <br />Consultant briefed Council on the Study and a full <br />briefing would be scheduled when Phase II of study <br />is completed. <br /> <br /> School Board members in attendance for the quarterly <br />meeting with Council: <br /> <br /> Grant Creekmore, Chairman, Johnny M. Clemons, Ralph W. <br />Buxton, Gloria M. Hall, Bernard D. Griffin, Sr., James Thomas <br />Benn, III, <br /> <br /> Absent: Della M. Vaughan, Warren Channel, David C. <br />Whitener <br /> <br /> 90-198 - On motion of Mr. Barnes and seconded by Mr. <br />Gray, to go into an Executive Session pursuant to provisions <br />Section 2.1-344 of the Code of Virginia to discuss: <br /> <br />of <br /> <br /> (1) Consultation with City Attorney and briefing by staff <br />members pertaining to a legal matter regarding an HMO Contract <br />as permitted under Subsection (A) (7); <br /> <br /> (2) Consideration of the sale of public property in the <br />southern portion of the City as permitted under SubsectiOn (A) <br />(3); <br /> <br /> (3) Consultation with the City Attorney and briefing by <br />staff members pertaining to a legal matter concerning use <br />permits as permitted under Subsection (A) (7); <br /> <br /> (4) Consultation with the City Attorney regarding actual <br />litigation involving a sidewalk injury as permitted under <br />Subsection (A) (7); <br /> <br /> (5) Discussion and consideration of a personnel matter as <br />permitted under Subsection (A) (1); <br /> <br /> <br />
