Appointment of Maria Kattmann to the position of City Assessor. <br /> <br />Motion by Ms. Psi mas, and seconded by Mr. Heretick, to appoint Maria Kattmann <br />as City Assessor, at an initial base salary of $105,241 per year, plus normal <br />employment benefits, with a start date of July 1, 2009. Ms. Kattmann is to perform all <br />the duties incumbent on the City Assessor, as set forth in the Portsmouth City Charter <br />and other applicable laws. My motion is also that the City Attorney prepare an <br />employment contract of the type normally used for Council appointees, and that the <br />Mayor sign the contract on behalf of the City, and was adopted by the following vote: <br /> <br />Ayes: Heretick, Psi mas, Randall, Smith, Whitehurst, Holley <br />Nays: None <br /> <br />'" Mayor Holley complimented Ms. Psimas, Mr. Whitehurst as well as the Military <br />Affairs Committee on a job well done with regards to the Memorial Day Parade. <br /> <br />09 - 298 - Report on Pending Items <br /> <br />There were no pending items. <br /> <br />09 - 299 - Non-Agenda Speakers <br /> <br />1.
