458 <br /> <br />December 11, 1990 <br /> <br />- NEW BUSINESS - <br /> <br />90-495 - Boards and Commissions: <br /> <br /> Vice Mayor Corp~ew, announced there were no appointments, <br />but there are two vacancies, cne on the Planning Commission and <br />one on the Port industrial Commission/Industrial Development <br />Authority. He asked if anyone wished to submitted an <br />resume for either of these vacancies, to return it to the City <br />Clerk's Office no later than January 17 1991. <br /> <br /> 90-496 - The City Manager announced the plans for the <br />agreement with South Harbor Pavilion Associates and the <br />expected revenues that are projected to bring into the <br />economy from this plan. <br /> <br /> Motion of Mr. Clemons and seconded by Mr. Epperson, that <br />authorization be granted to the City Manager to execute a lease <br />agreementr when appropriate, with South Harbor Pavilion <br />Associates, and was adopted by the following vote: <br /> <br />Ayes: Clemons, Corprew;' Epperson, King, Hawks, Lucas, Webb <br />Nays: None <br /> <br /> 90-497 Motion of Mr. Clemons and seconded by Mr. <br />Corprew, to reinstate the liaison members to the School <br />and the Industrial Development Authority. <br /> <br />Board <br /> <br /> Substitute motion of Mr. Hawks <br />to defer the matter to a later date, <br />following vote: <br /> <br />and seconded by Mrs. Lucas, <br />motion was defeated by the <br /> <br />Ayes: Hawks, Lucas, Webb <br />Nays: Clemons, Corprew, Epperson, King <br /> <br /> The original motion was adopted by the following vote 4-3 <br />(Nays-Hawks, Lucas, Webb) <br /> <br /> Motion of Mr. Corprew and seconded by Mr. Clemons, to <br />challenge the Mayor's appointment as a liaison to the <br />Industrial Development Committee, and the motion was <br />approved by the following vote 4~3 (Nays-Hawks, Lucas, Webb). <br /> <br />On <br /> <br />motion meeting was adjourned at 8:20 p.m. <br /> <br /> <br />
