The end result when d~tails between
the YMCA and the Authority have been finalized would involve a
trade Of parcels o~ land with the YMCA conveying the Effingham
Street YMCA ~ite~ to the Housing ~uthority in exchange for a
portion of City-owned property formerly known as the Buck
Childs field.

The YMCA has asked us to make a commitment to assist the
Housing Authority in the accomplishment of this task. It will
be necessary to convey a portion of this City-owned property,
marked i~ ~rey ~n~ the attached ~i~gram, ,an~~whichlis adjacent
to FrankeD. ~L~a.~ren~e Stadium, ~-the Portsmouth Rede~elop.men~
and Housing Authority, when 'the-~utho-ri~y~nd the YMCA b~
finalized their agreements.
