586 <br /> <br />April 30, 1991 <br /> <br /> At a calle~meeting of the City Council held on Tuesday, <br />April 30, 1991, there were present: <br /> <br />Mayor Gloria O. Webb, Vice Mayor E. G. Corprew, Jr., <br />Johnny M. Clemons, John H. Epperson, James C. Hawks, <br />Lee E. King, L. Louise Lucas, V. Wayne Orton, City <br />Manager, Stuart E. Katz, City Attorney. <br /> <br />91-157 The following call for the meeting was read: <br /> <br /> "Please attend a Call Meeting of the City Council to be <br />held in the Roundtable Conference Room, 6th floor of City Hall, <br />801 Crawford Street, at 5:30 p.m., Tuesday, April 30, 1991, for <br />the purpose of a Public Work Session. <br /> <br /> In addition you may consider a motion to go into an <br />Executive Session. <br /> <br />By order of the Mayor." <br /> <br /> Mr. Orton briefed Council on the change in the roll back <br />amounts for Business License TaxM~. <br /> <br /> Motion of Mr. Epperson and seconded by Mr. Clemons, to go <br />into an Executive Session pursuant to provisions of Section ~ <br />2.1-344 of the Code of Virginia fo~ the following: ~ <br /> <br /> (1) Consultation with the City Attorney and staff <br />regarding items of actual litigation as permitted under <br />Subsection (A) (7); <br /> <br /> (2) Consideration of the performance of the appointees of <br />City Council as permitted under Subsection (A) (1). <br /> <br />Motion was adopted by unanimous vote. <br /> <br /> Motion of Mr. Epperson and seconded by Mr. King, pursuant <br />to Section 2.1-344.1 of the Code of Virginia certifying that tc <br />the best of the Council Member's knowledge during the immedi- <br />ately preceding Executive Session of the City Council: <br /> <br /> 1.
