Symphony, requested a contribution of $4,000.00. <br /> <br /> Leon Battle, 1662 Darren Circle, spoke concerning the <br />unity of the citizens of Portsmouth. <br /> <br />UNFINISHED BUSINESS - <br /> <br />CONSENT AGENDA <br /> <br /> Motion of Mr. Epperson and seconded by Mr.°King, the <br />following items 91-146, R1-147, 91-148 (a) approved on <br />first reading at the Regular Meeting of April 23, 1991 was <br />adopted on final reading and by the following vote: <br /> <br />91-146 "AN ORDINANCE TO APPROPRIATE $482,500 FROM THE <br /> CAPITAL IMPROVEMENTS FUND TO COMPLETE BRIDGE REPAIRS <br /> ON THE CHURCHLAND BRIDGE AND THE PARADISE CREEK <br /> BRIDGE." <br /> <br />91-147 <br /> <br />"AN ORDINANCE TO APPROPRIATE $204,600 FROM THE PUBLIC <br />UTILITY CAPITAL IMPROVEMENTS FUND FOR THE <br />INSTALLATION OF AN ALARM SYSTEM THAT WILL INDICATE <br />MALFUNCTIONS AT T~ CITY'S SEWAGE PUMP STATIONS." <br /> <br />91-148(a) <br /> <br />"AN ORDINANCE TO APPROPRIATE $218,000 FROM THE <br />COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT FUND FOR THE 1991 COMMUNITY <br />DEVELOPMENT PROGRAM." <br /> <br />Ayes: Corprew, Epperson, King, Hawks, Lucas, Webb <br />Nays: None <br /> <br /> <br />
