June 25, 1991 <br /> <br /> At a called meeting of the City Council held on Tue <br />25, 1991, there were present: <br /> <br /> Mayor Gloria O. Webb*, Vice Mayor E. G. Corprew, Jr <br />M. Clemons, John H. Epperson, James C. Hawks, Lee E. Kin <br />Louise Lucas**, V. Wayne Orton, City Manager, Stuart E. <br />Attorney. <br /> <br />91-216 - The following call for the meeting was rea <br /> <br /> "Please attend a Called Meeting of the City Council <br />held on Tuesday, June 25, 1991, at 4:45 p.m. in the City <br />Conferenc~ Room, 6th floor of City Hall, 801 Crawford St <br />the purpose of a Public Work Session. <br /> <br /> In addition you may consider a motion to go into an <br />Session. <br /> <br />By order of the Mayor." <br /> <br /> The following items were discussed in the Public Wo <br />Session: <br /> <br />1. High Street Improvements <br /> <br />2. Historic District <br /> <br />3. Safety Presentation <br /> <br />4. Handicapped Parking <br /> <br />5. Code Changes <br /> <br /> Motion of Mr. Hawks and seconded by Mr. King to go <br />Executive Session pursuant to provisions of Section 2.1- <br />Code of Virginia for the following: <br /> <br /> (1) Consultation with the City Attorney and briefi <br />staff members pertaining to items of actual litigation a <br />potential litigation (City v. Campbell and Haskins v.
