<br />February 26. 2008 <br /> <br />08 - 113 - Items Submitted by Council Members <br /> <br />There were no items submitted. <br /> <br />08 - 114 - Report on Pending Items <br /> <br />There were no pending items. <br /> <br />08 - 115 - Non-Agenda Speakers <br /> <br />1. J. Brewer Moore, 308 Bobby Jones Drive, spoke on making local history regional. <br /> <br />2. Larry Gump, 3502 Hartford Street, thanked the management team for making some <br />tough decisions which he believes will benefit the City. He also wanted to show <br />support for a revised Fire and Police Pay Plan and brought to the Council's attention <br />the radio system failure within the Police Department in the Churchland area. <br /> <br />3. Terry Danaher, 413 Dinwiddie Street, made a plea to Council and citizens to call <br />their representatives at the State and Federal levels of government to get funding for <br />the City. <br /> <br />4. Chris Riley, 201 Riverside Drive, voiced his support for a revised Fire and Police Pay <br />Plan. <br /> <br />5. Ron Evans, 14 Chippewa Trail, voiced his concern with what he believes are <br />inconsistent land assessments in the city. <br /> <br />6. Jim Ellis, 805 Arnold Palmer Drive, offered some suggestions on what City Council <br />may want to consider during the budget process. <br /> <br />7. David Griffin, 475 Water Street, thanked City Council for their past support of <br />TodiMusicFest and reflected on the positive effect Todi has had on the city. <br /> <br />8. Sandi Johnson, 406 Westmoreland Avenue, brought to City Council's attention the <br />difficulty she and other citizens are having with maintaining ownership of their homes <br />as assessments of their properties continue to rise. <br /> <br />9. Stephen Carroll, 3112 Riveredge Drive, brought to City Council's attention citizens' <br />concerns over the fiscal policy in the City. <br /> <br />10. Frank Harte, 3403 Dogwood Drive, wanted an update on the construction of a <br />sound wall at 1-164. <br /> <br />.." Ms. Psimas asked that Management give an update on the noise abatement <br />ordinance. <br /> <br />.." John Rowe, Deputy City Manager informed Mr. Harte that there was a noise <br />abatement ordinance for the City and provided him with a copy of that ordinance. <br /> <br />11. Clifford Kalmbach, 3702 Magnolia Drive, voiced his concern with what he believes <br />are inconsistent land assessments in the City. <br /> <br />12. Jim Mayo, 4424 Seagrove Road, asked that the City be held to the same standards <br />by code inspectors as homeowners. <br /> <br />On motion, meeting adjourned at 9:25 p.m. <br />
