279 10, March 10, 1992 At a Called Meeting of the City Council held Tuesday, March 1992, there were present: Mayor Gloria O. Webb, *Vice Mayor E. G. Corprew, Jr., Johnny M. Clemons, John H. Epperson, Lee E. King, James C. Hawks, Junius H. Williams, Jr., V. Wayne Orton, City Manager, Stuart E. Katz, City Attorney 92-88 - The following call for the meeting was read: "Please attend a Called Meeting of the City Council to be held on Tuesday, March 10, 1992 at 4:45 p.m. in the City Council Chambert 6th floor of City Hall, 801 Crawford Street, for the purpose of joint meeting with PPIC/IDA and a public work session. In addition you may consider a motion to go into an executive session. By order of the Mayor." 92-89 - Joint meeting with Portsmouth Port Industrial Commission and Industrial Development Authority members:~ The following PPiS/IDA members were in attendance: Michael Blachmant Chairman, Edward L. Oast, Manny Mun~z., Dan Duncan. Absent: Ralph Wilson, Jordan Slone. On motion of Mr. King and seconded by Mr. Hawks, toi go into Executive Session pursuant to Section 2.1-344 of the Cod~ of Virginia for the following: (1) Consideration of appointments to Boards and Commissions by the City Council as permitted under Subsection (A) (li); (2) Consideration of the use of public property in the Port Centre, Churchland, Cradock, and Midtown parts of the Cl~y as permitted under Subsection (A) (3). ' Motion adopted by unanimous vote. On motion of Mr. Clemons and seconded by Mr. Williams, pursuant to Section 2.1-344.1 of the Code of Virginia certifying that to the best of the Council Member's knowledge during the immediately preceding Executive Session of the City Council: (1) OnlY public business matters lawfully exempted from open meeting requirements by the Virginia Freedom of InfOrmation Act, and
