Webb, *Vice Mayor E. G. Corprew, Jr., <br />Johnny M. Clemons, John H. Epperson, Lee E. King, <br />James C. Hawks, Junius H. Williams, Jr., V. Wayne Orton, <br />City Manager, Stuart E. Katz, City Attorney <br /> <br />92-88 - The following call for the meeting was read: <br /> <br /> "Please attend a Called Meeting of the City Council to be <br />held on Tuesday, March 10, 1992 at 4:45 p.m. in the City Council <br />Chambert 6th floor of City Hall, 801 Crawford Street, for the <br />purpose of joint meeting with PPIC/IDA and a public work session. <br /> <br /> In addition you may consider a motion to go into an executive <br />session. <br /> <br />By order of the Mayor." <br /> <br /> 92-89 - Joint meeting with Portsmouth Port Industrial <br />Commission and Industrial Development Authority members:~ <br /> <br /> The following PPiS/IDA members were in attendance: <br /> <br />Michael Blachmant Chairman, Edward L. Oast, Manny Mun~z., <br />Dan Duncan. <br /> <br />Absent: Ralph Wilson, Jordan Slone. <br /> <br /> On motion of Mr. King and seconded by Mr. Hawks, toi go into <br />Executive Session pursuant to Section 2.1-344 of the Cod~ of <br />Virginia for the following: <br /> <br /> (1) Consideration of appointments to Boards and Commissions <br />by the City Council as permitted under Subsection (A) (li); <br /> <br /> (2) Consideration of the use of public property in the Port <br />Centre, Churchland, Cradock, and Midtown parts of the Cl~y as <br />permitted under Subsection (A) (3). ' <br /> <br />Motion adopted by unanimous vote. <br /> <br /> On motion of Mr. Clemons and seconded by Mr. Williams, <br />pursuant to Section 2.1-344.1 of the Code of Virginia certifying <br />that to the best of the Council Member's knowledge during the <br />immediately preceding Executive Session of the City Council: <br /> <br /> (1) OnlY public business matters lawfully exempted from <br />open meeting requirements by the Virginia Freedom of InfOrmation <br />Act, and <br /> <br /> <br />
