287 ~At a Called Meeting~of the City Council~held Tuesday, 24, 1992, there were present: March Mayor~Gloria O. Webb, *Vice Mayor E. G~ Corprew, Jr., Johnny M. Clemons, i~ohn H. Epperson, Lee E. King, *James C. Hawks, Junius H. Williams, Jr,, V. Wayne Orton, City Manager, Stuart E. Katz, City Attorney 92-102 - The following call for the meeting was read: "Please attend a~C~lled Meeting of the City Council to be held on Tuesday, March 10, 1992 at 4:45 p.m. in the City Council Chamber, 6th floor of City Hall, 801 Crawford Street, for the purpose of joint meeting with the Community Services Board and a Public Work Session. In addition you may consider a motion to go session. By order of the Mayor." into an executive Joint meeting with the Community Services Board members: The following Community Services Board members were in attendance: Evelyn Hyman, Chairman, Dr. James Cornetta, John H. Faulcon, Jr., V. Anne Green, Rabbi Arthur Z. Steinberg, Carrie Byrum, Claudia Wade, Mary Norris, Albert Eure, Roger Smith, Carl L. Burden, Frederick I. Watson, David Norman, Executive Director. Absent: Geraldine Holmes, Doris H. Ward Mrs. Hyman and David Norman, gave a presentation on the programs offered by the Community Services Board. Evelyn Hyman presented Vice Mayor Corprew with a plaque in appreciation for n0mination ~tlei~group for an award. Richard Hartman, City Engineer, Jim Echols, Executive Director of TRT, Jane Whitney and John Ballard, presented different options for the relocation of the Ferry Dock. On motion Of Mr. King and seconded by Mr. Epperson to go into Executive Session pursuant to Section 2.1-344 of the Code of Virginia for the following: (1) Consideration of appointments to Boards and Commissions by the City Council as permitted under Subsection (A) (1); Motion adopted by unanimous vote.
