<br />April 14, 1992, there were present-:

<br /> Mayor Gloria O. Webb, Vice Mayor E. G. Corprew, Jr.,
<br />Johnny M. Clemons, John H~ Epperson, Lee E. King, v.~Wayne
<br />Orton, City Manager, Stuart E, Katz, City Attorney.

<br /> Angel Thomas and Metinda Lewin, 12th Grade Students of
<br />Woodrow Wilson High School opened the meeting with prayer in
<br />song and sign'~followed~bY the pledge, of Allegiance to.the Flag.
<br />
<br /> Mayor Webb welcomed all in attendance.
<br />
<br /> Motion of Mr. Epperson and seconded by Mr. Clemons, the
<br />minutes of the Called Meeting on March 24~, t.992; minUtes Of the
<br />Regular Meeting on March 24, 1992, Called Meeting on April 1,
<br />1992 at 1:00 p.m., to be approved and was adopted by unanimous

<br />City perspectives.

<br />92-107 - An ordinance to'appropriate $60,000 from the Public
<br />Utility CaPital'ImProvements Fund for repair of the WasteWater
<br />Sludge Lagoon and award of the contract to the low bidder, Witt
<br />Williams, Incorporated and Schnable Engineering, deferred from
<br />the regular meeting of March 24, 1992. '

<br /> Motion of Epperson and seconded by King, the following
<br />ordinance was adopted, and by the following vote:
<br />
<br /> "AN ORDINANCE TO APPROPRIATE $60,000.00 FROM THE PUBLIC
<br />UTILITY CAPITAL IMPROVEMENTS FUND TO REPAIR PORTSMOUTH'S WATER
<br />TREATMENT PLANT'S WASTEWATER SLUDGE LAGOON.
