<br />ordinances to fully enact the Operating Budget for the fiscal

<br /> (a) Motion of Mr. Epperson and seconded by Mr. H~aw~s,'~o
<br />rearrange the order by which the parts of this item are
<br />considered an.d to consider! ordina:nce 92~167~(a') aft~r
<br />consideration of ordinance 92-167~ (m), and was adopted by
<br />unanimous vote:~ !

<br /> (b) Motion of Mr, Epperson and seconded by Mr. King,
<br />to adopt the following ordinance with an amendment to ·
<br />Subsection 3 (d) pertaining to recreational vehicles personal
<br />property taX the effect being to keep the same rate of $4'.35.
<br />per one hundred dollars of valuation and was adopted by~.the ·
<br />following vote:
<br />
<br />"An ordinance to amend and re-enac% Ordinance No. 1985-39,
<br />as amended and re-enacted by ordinances no. 1986-44,
<br />1987-37, 1988-38, 1989-33, 1990-30, 1991-35, aKd 1991~"11@~;~
<br />imposing and levying taxes for each fiscal year beginning
<br />July 1st and ending June 30th, unless o[herwise cha~ged~y
<br />Council, on real estate, tangible personal property,
<br />privately owned pleasure boats, privately owned camping
<br />trailers and motor homes, and machinery and tools within
<br />the City of Portsmouth, Virginia, for the purpose of
<br />raising revenue for the support of governmental operations
<br />and the public free schools and to pay principal and
<br />interest on the public debt.

<br /> VIRGINIA, 1988, BY AMENDING SECTION 38-83t THEREOF,
<br /> PERTAINING TO METER RATES FOR WATER SUPPLIED".

<br /> VIRGINIA, 1988, BY ADDING ARTICLE XV, THERETO, PERTAINING
<br /> TO A TAX ON CABLE AND RADIO AND SATELLITE MASTER ANTENNA
<br /> TELEVISION SYSTEMS (SMATV) SERVICES. ·
