June 23, 1992 <br /> <br />(b) Any area of the site disturbed by removal of the gas tanks <br />Shall be repaved in accord with plans approved by the City <br />Engineer. <br /> <br />(c) Adequate parking spaces shall be provided and delineated <br />with stripes to accommodate customer and employee vehicles. <br /> <br />(d) No more than seventy-five (75) vehicles shall be displayed <br />at any one time. <br /> <br />(e) Servicing of automobiles shall be limited to cleaning and <br />minor repairs, excluding engine and drivetrain repairs, body <br />work and painting, except for repairs conducted in an enclosed <br />garage. <br /> <br />(f) All signs and banners shall comply with the terms of the <br />City of Portsmouth Zoning Ordinance. <br /> <br />(g) Only operable and fully assembled vehicles shall be parked <br />on the lot. <br /> <br />(h) The applicant shall comply with all applicable codes, <br />ordinances and regulations of federalt state and local <br />governments and shall obtain all necessary licenses and <br />permits." <br /> <br />(e) "A RESOLUTION GRANTING A USE PERMIT TO ELLIOT COHEN FOR THE <br />OPERATION OF AN ANIMAL SERVICE KENNEL AT 6029 HIGH STREET. <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, Elliot Cohen has made application pursuant to <br />Section 40-43.1 of the Code of the City of Portsmouth, <br />Virginia, 1988, for the granting of a use permit as ~to operate <br />an animal service kennel at 6029 High Street~ Portsmouth, <br />Virginia, hereinafter-described; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the applicant and the Planning Director have done <br />all things required to be done in connection with said <br />application; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the Planning Commission has recomme'nded the <br />granting of said use permit with conditions. <br /> <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Council of the City <br />of Portsmouth, Virginia: <br /> <br /> 1. That the use for which the use permit <br />hereinafter-described is sought: <br /> <br />(a) will not adversely affect the health and safety of persons <br />residing or working in the neighborhOod of the proposed use; <br /> <br />(b Will not be detrimental to the public use or injurious to <br />the property or improvements in the neighborhood; <br /> <br />(c) Will be provided with sufficient landscaping to insure <br />compatibility with surrounding uses; <br /> <br />(d) Will be a project that will be developed according to a <br />plan for parking, driveways, and curb cuts which will provide <br />for safe and convenient traffic movement; and <br /> <br />(e) Will be in accordance with the purposes of the City of <br />Portsmouth Zoning Ordinance. <br /> <br /> <br />
