June 12. 2007 PARK AND RECREATION COMMISSION Heather Bright to be reappointed for a three year term ending June 30, 2010. Christopher Herrod to be reappointed for a three year term ending June 30, 2010. PORTSMOUTH REDEVELOPMENT AND HOUSING AUTHORITY-(PRHA) Sara Steele to be appointed to fill a four year term ending August 31, 2011, replacing Michael Blachman. Ernest Hardee to be reappointed for a four year term ending August 31, 2011. Junius Williams to be reappointed for a three year term ending August 31, 2011. SOCIAL SERVICES ADVISORY COMMISSION Lendora Riddick to fill an unexpired term ending June 30, 2008, replacing Jeanette Hubbard. SOUTHEASTERN PUBLIC SERVICE AUTHORITY-ALTERNATE John Maher to be reappointed for a four year term ending June 30, 2011. TIDEWATER REGIONAL GROUP HOME COMMISSION (REGIONAl) Reynold Jordan to be reappointed for a four year term ending June 30, 2011. David Lively to be reappointed for a four year term ending June 30, 2011. TOWING ADVISORY BOARD Larry Gump to be reappointed for a three year term ending May 31, 2010. Robert Salas to be reappointed for a three year term ending May 31, 2010. WETLANDS BOARD Stephen Bruce to fill an unexpired term ending May 31,2008, replacing John Pieper. Motion by Mr. Moody, and seconded by Ms. Psi mas, to close nominations, and the above nominations were adopted by the following vote: Ayes: Moody, Psimas, D. Smith, R. Smith, Randall Nays: None 07 - 272 - Items Submitted by Council Members '" Motion by Mr. Moody, and seconded by D. Smith, to move that City Manager James Oliver's contract as City Manager, which expires June 30, 2007 be extended through July 29, 2007. The Manager's salary will be as set forth in the new Pay Plan. Since the Manager will be retired under the Virginia Retirement System as of July 1, 2007 he will serve as a contract employee with no benefits, and was adopted by the following vote: Ayes: Moody, Psimas, D. Smith, R. Smith, Randall Nays: None
