Katz, City~AttOrne~ . ~ i'..~ ~ 92-332 ~ The following call for the meeting was read: "Pleaseiattend a Called Meeting of the City Council to be held in the~ ~ity Counci~l~Chamber, 6th floor.of CSty Hall, 801 Crawford Street, at 5:00 p.m~, Monday, October~12,. 1992, for the purpose of alCommission of Architectural Review Appeal, Downtown Design Committee Appeal and a Public Work Session. In addition, you may consider a motion to go into an Executive Session. By orde of the Mayor." 92-334 - The following items were discussed Session: ' 1. Cou Commission o at 370 Court in the Public Work ~cil considered thle ~ppeal of ~racel MDr~i~ of the Architectural Review's decision concerning property Street. Motion ~f Mr. ~awks and seconded by Mr. King, to reverse the decision of {he Commission of Architectural Review pertaining to the required/replacement with like materials of a tin roof at 370 Court Street} and was denied by the following vote, 3-4 (Clemons, Epperson, Griffin, Webb). 2. Council considered t~e appeal of Third Baptist Church of the DowntownlDesign Committee s decision concerning property at 461 Godwin Street. Motion ~f the appeal o~ at 461 Godwi] 3. Was McCoy, Direc~ Mr. Griffin and seconded by Mr. Clemons, to grant Third Baptist Church for the removal of the steeples Street, and was approved by a unanimous vote. e Management update presentation given by C. W. ~or of General Operations. 4. Citizen Involvement Summit presentation given by Anne Lyons, Sr. P~ogram Administrator for the Community Services Board. ! MotiOn ~y Mr. ~riffin and seconded by Mr. Epperson to go into Executive SeSsion pursuant to provisions of~Section 2.1-344 of the Code of Virginia for the following: (1 Consideration of appointments to Boards and Commissions by the Cit~ Council as permitted under Subsection (A) (1); ! 2 Consideration of the performance of City Council as permitted under S~bsection (A) (1); n 3 Co sultstion with the City Attorney and briefing by staff pertain%ng to actual litigation in the Anderson case and the Hill ca~e as permitted under Subsection (A) (7); 4 Considelation of the use of publicly held real property in the Sout~hern portion of the City and in Suffolk as permitted under S~[bsection (A) (3).
