<br />Mav 8, 2007 <br /> <br />At a Regular Meeting of the City Council on Tuesday, May 8, 2007 there were <br />present: <br /> <br />Mayor James W. Holley III, Vice Mayor Marlene W. Randall, William E. Moody, Jr., <br />Stephen E. Heretick, Elizabeth M. Psi mas, Ray A. Smith, Sr., Douglas L. Smith, City <br />Manager James B. Oliver, Jr., City Attorney G. Timothy Oksman. <br /> <br />Vice Mayor Marlene W. Randall opened the meeting with prayer, which was <br />followed by the Pledge of Allegiance to the Flag. <br /> <br />Mayor Holley called the meeting to order and welcomed all in attendance. <br /> <br />Motion by Mr. R. Smith, and seconded by Mr. Moody, to approve the minutes of <br />a Called Meeting on April 24, 2007 and of a Regular Meeting of April 24, 2007, and was <br />adopted by the following vote: <br /> <br />Ayes: Heretick, Moody, Psi mas, Randall, D. Smith, R. Smith, Holley <br />Nays: None <br /> <br />- Public Hearing - <br /> <br />07 - 218 <br /> <br />Public hearing concerning the proposed Hampton Roads <br />Transportation Authority and its potential impact on local <br />transportation and associated fees. <br /> <br />1. John Tynch III, 1000 Naval Avenue, spoke in support of this item. <br /> <br />2. Steven Carroll, 3112 Riveredge Drive, spoke in opposition to this item. <br /> <br />3.
