March 24, 1993 (d) The Council hereby designates the Refunded 1980 Public Improvement Bonds for redemption on July 1, 1993 in accordance with the provisions of the aforementioned resolutions autho~'izing the issuance of the 1980 Public Improvement Bonds adopted by the Council on May 27, 1980 and June 17, 1980 and authorizes the City Manager and the Director of Finance to take all such actions as they shall deem to be necessary or desirable to effect the redemption of the Refunded 1980 Public Improvement Bonds on such date, including the appointment of a Registrar and Paying Agent for the 1980 Public Improvement Bond& (e) The Council hereby designates the Refunded 1987 Public Improvement Bonds for rede,m~tion on November 1, 1997 m accordance with the provisions of the aforementioned r .solutions authorizing the issuance of the 1987 Public'Improvement Bonds adol~ed by the O ~uncil on Apffi 14, 1987 and June 23, 1987 and authorizes the City Manager and the Dixector of Finance to take all such actions as they shall deem to be necessary or desirable to effect the redemption of the Refunded 1987 Public Improvement Bond on such date. (f) The Council hereby designates the Refunded 1991 Public Iml3rovemem Bonds for redemption on August 1, 2000 in accordance with the provisions of the aforementioned re~olutions authorizing the issuance of the 1991 Public Improvement Bonds adopted by the Council on January 7, 1991 and January 8, 1991 and authorizes the C/ty Manager and the Director of Finance to take all such actions as they shall deem to be necessary or desirable to effect the redemption of the Refunded 1991 Public Improvement Bond on such 11. The City Attorney of the City is directed to file a copy of this resolt~tion, Zed by the City Clerk of the City to be a mae copy hereof, with the Clerk of the Circuit of the City of Portsmouth, Virginia. 14. All ordinances, resolutions and proceedings in confl/ct with the provisions of thi~ resolution are, to the extent of such conflSct, hereby repealed. 15. This resolution shall take effect from the date of its adoption.
