Katz, City Attorney. <br /> <br />93-132 - The following call for the meeting was read: <br /> <br /> "Please attend a called meeting of the City Council to be <br />held in the City Council Chamber, 6th floor of City Hall~ 801 <br />Crawford Street, at 5:00 p.m. Tuesday, April 13, 1993 for the <br />purpose of a Joint Meeting with IDA/PPIC and a Public Work <br />Session. <br /> <br /> I~ addition you may consider a motion to go into an Executive <br />Session. <br /> By order ~f the Mayor." <br /> <br /> 93-133 - The following items were discussed in Public Work <br />~ession: <br /> <br />Boys & Girls Clubs Establishmen~ <br /> <br />Joint Meeting with IDA/PPIC <br />Dan Duncan, Vice Chairman <br />Roger Brown, Commissioner <br />Ann Davis, Commissioner <br />Manny Munozt Commissioner <br />Matthew James, Director of Economic Development <br /> <br /> 93-134 <br />lo int <br />2.1-34 <br /> <br /> ( <br />by the <br /> <br /> ( <br />in the <br />portic <br /> <br /> - Motion of Mr. Epperson, and seconded by Mr. Pitts to <br />Executive Session pursuant to provisions of Section <br />of the Code of Virginia for the fcllowing: <br /> <br />) Consideration of appointments to Boards and Commissions <br />City Council as permitted under S~bsection (A) (1). <br /> <br />2) Ccnsideration of the use of publicly held real property <br />PortCentre, Churchland, Downtown and Pinner's Point <br />ns of the City as permitted under Subsection (A) (3); <br /> <br /> (3) Discussion concerning prospective businesses or <br />industries where no previous announcemen~ has been made of the <br />busineDses' or industries' interest in l~cating their facilities <br />in the community as permitted ~ubsection (A) (5); <br /> <br /> (4) Consultation with the City Attorney and briefing by <br />staff pertaining to matters of litigatio~ (Conley suit and <br />Chesapeake suit) and probable litigation with Abex as permitted <br />under Subsection (A) (7). <br /> <br />Motion was adopted by unanimous vote. <br /> <br /> M~tion of Mr. Clemons and seconded by Mr. King pursuant to <br />Section 2.1-344.1 of the Code of Virgini~ certifying that to the <br />best of the Council Member's knowledge d~ring the immediately <br />preceding Executive Session of the City Council: <br /> <br /> <br />
