Smith, R. Smith, Holley <br />Nays: None <br /> <br />06 - 550 - Items Submitted by Council Members <br /> <br />~ Ms. Psimas, as former liaison to the Hoffler Creek Wildlife Preserve, updated <br />Council and citizens of a meeting she attended, along with Mr. Moody, on <br />November 16, 2006. <br /> <br />~ Ms. Randall complimented City Manager Oliver on a job well done as City <br />Manager of Portsmouth. <br /> <br />~ Mr. Oliver informed citizens that he had notified Council that he would not ask <br />that his contract be extended past June, 2007. <br /> <br />06 - 551 - Report on Pending Items <br /> <br />~ Ms. Psimas, as liaison to the Light Duty Policy Committee, gave an update to <br />Council and citizens. <br /> <br />06 - 552 - Non-Agenda Speakers <br /> <br />1. Nathan Clark, 37 Woodland Street, voiced his frustration with not receiving a <br />complete update on the City's Light Duty Policy. <br /> <br />2. Sheriff Watson, 701 Crawford Street, voiced his frustration with not receiving a <br />complete update on the City's Light Duty Policy. <br /> <br />3. Martha Ann Creecy, 317 Dinwiddie Street, asked that Council instead of building a <br />new Court's Complex use the funding to improve neighborhoods. <br /> <br />On motion, meeting adjourned at 9:01 p.m. <br /> <br />Minutes prepared by: <br /> <br /> <br />Anita Y.
