<br /> "I am pleased to inform you that the contract with
<br />Southeastern Virginia Areawide Model Program, Inc. (SEVAMP) has
<br />been reneWed. This contract provides $60,103 of Title III Older
<br />Americans Act funds to Portsmouth for senior citizens services
<br />
<br /> Our goal for the year include 350 visits for dental
<br />services, 12,160 miles of transportation, 2,500 hours of
<br />personal care in the home, and 1,300 hours of nursing services.
<br />The total program cost for the period of October 1, 1993 through
<br />September 30, 1994 is $70,711 including $10,608 in local in-kind
<br />match. No local cash is required.
<br />
<br /> I hereby recommend the approval of the program, and the
<br />transfer of $60,103 from the Grants Contingency Account to
<br />support these services for our senior citizens."
<br />
<br /> Motion by Mr. Clemons, and seconded by Mr. Epperson, to
<br />transfer $60,103 for the FY 1994 Southeastern Virginia Areawide
<br />Model Program, Inc. (SEVAMP) to provide services to senior
<br />citizens, and was adopted by the following vote:
