Clemons, John H. <br />Epperson, Bernard D. Griffin, Sr., James C. Hawks, C~meron C. <br />Pi~ts, V. Wayne Orton, City Manager, Stuart E. Katz, City <br />Attorney. <br /> <br />Absent: Mayor Gloria O. Webb <br /> <br />The following call for the meeting was read: <br /> <br /> "Please attend a Called Meeting of the City Council to be <br />held in the City Council Chamber, 6th floor, City Hall Building, <br />801 Crawford Street, at 5:30 p.m., Thursday, January 6, 1994, <br />for the purpose of a public reception for members of the <br />Portsmouth General Assembly Delegation. <br /> <br /> In addition, you may consider a motion to go into an <br />Executive Session. <br /> <br />By order of the Mayor." <br /> <br /> Vice Mayor King welcomed all in attendance and introduced <br />the following legislators who made remarks about the 1994 <br />General Assembly Session: <br /> <br />Senator L.
