Cathy Revell, 422 Crawford Street, made a request of the Council to instruct the <br />City's Zoning Department staff to initiate a code amendment to allow events to be <br />hosted at the Pass House. <br /> <br />3. Clyde Toler, 1029 Blair Street, spoke on various issues which included better <br />advertisement of the Memorial Day Parade, the City of Portsmouth possibly <br />becoming a Flag City, lack of participation by citizens and former Council members <br />in the Council meetings, and asked that police officers be referred to as "officers" <br />and not "cops." Also, he made a request of the City Manager to meet with <br />someone in the Police Department to bring about some cohesiveness within the <br />community. <br /> <br />4. Geoff Service, 5624 Picadilly Lane, wanted to express pride in the City's <br />revitalization of the Mid-City area. Also, he wanted to thank the Council, City <br />Manager, Planning Commission and everyone involved for improving the quality of <br />life for citizens in that area. <br /> <br />5. John Lifsey, 229 Mount Vernon Avenue, asked that the City make a concerted and <br />coordinated effort to bring together those City Departments necessary to improve <br />the quality of life in Port Norfolk. <br /> <br />On motion, meeting adjourned at 10:40 p.m. <br /> <br />Minutes prepared by: <br /> <br /> <br />Anita Y.
