REVOCATION OF PERMIT: Violation of any of the above conditions <br />may serve as grounds for revocation of the permit by the City Council." <br /> <br />Ayes: Heretick, Moody, Psi mas, Randall, Smith, Whitehurst, Holley <br />Nays: None <br /> <br />05 - 110 - Comprehensive Plan: <br /> <br />(a) CP-05-01 <br /> <br />CITYWIDE - ADOPTION OF COMPREHENSIVE PLAN - The <br />City of Portsmouth proposes the adoption of a new <br />Comprehensive Plan, Destination 2025. The Comprehensive <br />Plan in a long-range policy document that sets the framework <br />and guiding principles for the City's future. It assesses existing <br />conditions, creates a community wide vision for the future, <br />develops goals and objectives to fulfill that vision, and identifies <br />the strategies required to achieve that vision. Deferred from the <br />March 8, 2005 City Council meeting. Vision Principles: Bold <br />New Directions, A Robust and Prospering Economy, World Class <br />Maritime Center, Lifelong Learning Community, Neighborhood <br />and Community Transformation and Pride of Past, Promise of <br />Future. <br /> <br />Motion by Mr. Whitehurst, and seconded by Ms. Randall, to concur with the <br />recommendation of the Planning Commission that CP-05-01 be approved on first <br />reading, and was adopted by a unanimous vote. <br /> <br />05 - 61 - Adoption of a resolution requesting the Commonwealth Transportation Board <br />of Virginia to allocate Industrial Access Funds for the construction of the necessary <br />road improvements to support the development of the MaersklAPM Terminals site. <br />Deferred from the February 8,2005 City Council meeting. <br /> <br />Motion by Mr. Whitehurst, and seconded by Ms. Psi mas, to accept staff <br />withdrawal of item 05-61, and was adopted by the following vote: <br /> <br />Ayes: Heretick, Moody, Psi mas, Randall, Smith, Whitehurst, Holley <br />Nays: None <br /> <br />05 - 125 - Adoption of an ordinance to reprogram FY-05 Operating Budget funds <br />appropriated in the General Fund totaling $425,000 for various commitments and <br />operational costs needed through June 30, 2005. Deferred from the March 22, 2005 <br />City Council meeting. Vision Principles: Neighborhood and Community <br />Transformation and A Robust and Prospering Economy. <br /> <br />Recommended Action: <br /> <br />. Adoption of an ordinance to reprogram FY-05 Operating Budget funds <br />appropriated in the General Fund totaling $425,000 for various operational needs and <br />requirements. <br /> <br />Summary: <br /> <br />. This action is needed to provide funding for the following: <br /> <br />1. Weed and debris removal. <br />2. Demolition. <br />3. Other contractual services and commitments. <br />4. Employee parking. <br /> <br />. These funds contribute to the City Council's vision of Neighborhood and <br />Community Transformation by producing safe neighborhoods and A Robust and <br />Prospering Economy by maintaining the financial strength of the parking system. <br />
