King, Johnny M. <br /> Bernard D. Griffin, Sr., James C. <br /> V. Wayne Orton, City Manager, Stuart <br /> <br /> The following call for the meeting was read: <br /> <br /> "Please attend a to be <br />held in the City Council Chamber, 6th floor of City Hall, 801 <br />Crawford Street, an 5:00 p.m., Tuesday, February 15, 1994, for <br />the purpose of a Public Work Session. <br /> <br />Called Meeting of <br /> <br />the City Council <br /> <br /> In addition, you may consider a motion uo go into an <br />Executive Session. <br /> <br />By order of the Mayor." <br /> <br /> Motion by Mr. Kawks, and seconded by Mr. Epperson no go <br />into Executive Session pursuann no provisIons of Section <br />2.1-344 of the Code of Virgmnla for the following: <br /> <br /> (1) Consideration of appointments to Boards and <br />Commissions by the City Council as permitted under Subsection <br /> (A) (~); <br /> <br /> (2) Discumsion or consideration of the acquisition or use <br />of real property in the southern and central portions of the <br />City for public purpose, as permitted under Subsection (A) (3); <br /> <br /> (3) Discussion or consideration of the use or disposition <br />of publicly held real properny in the downtown, central, <br />southern and southeastern portions of the City, as permitted <br />under Subsection (A) (3) . <br /> <br />The motion was adopted by unanimous vote. <br /> <br /> Motion by Mr. Griffin, and seconded by Mr. Epperson <br />pursuant uo Section 2.1-344.1 of the Code of Virginia <br />certifying that no the best of the Council member's knowledge <br />during the immediately preceding Executive Session of the City <br />Council: <br /> <br /> (1) Only public business manners lawfully exempted <br />open meening requirements by nhe Virginia Freedom of <br />Information Act, and <br /> <br />from <br /> <br /> (2) Only such public business matters as were identified <br />in the motion by which the Executive Session was convened, were <br />heard, discussed or considered in the meeting by mhe City <br />Council. <br /> <br />The monion was adopted by unanimous vone. <br /> <br />On motion meeting adjourned at 8:00 p.m. <br /> <br />APPROVED - ~7 ~7 <br /> <br /> ~oria O.
