3 6 8 Februarv 15, 200'1 At a Called Meeting of the City Council on Thursday, February 15, 2001, there were present: Mayor James W. Holley III, Vice Mayor Bernard D. Griffin, Sr., Cameron C. Pitts, P. Ward Robinett, Jr., J. Thomas Benn Ill, William E. Moody, Jr., Charles B. Whitehurst Sr., City Manager Daniel M. Stuck, Ronald W. Mass~e. 01 - 57 - The following call for the meeting was read: "Please attend a Called Meeting of the City Council to be held at th~ Williamsburg Hospitality House, 415 Richmond Road, Williamsburg, Virginia, on Thursday, February 15, 2001 at 8:00 p.m. for the purpose of a City Council Retreat. In addition, you may consider a motion to go into a Closed Meeting. E~y order of the Mayor." 01 - 58 - Motion by Mr. Robinett, and seconded by Mr. Pitts, to go into Closed Meeting pursuant to provisions of Section 2.1-344 of the Code of Virginia, to discuss or consider the following: the performance of specific public officers or employees of the City, as authorized by subparagraph 1. The motion was adopted by unanimous vote. Motion by Mr. Whitehurst, and seconded by Mr. Robinett, ~)ursuant to Section 2.1-344.1 of the Code of Virginia certifying that to the best of the Council Member's knowledge during the immediately preceding Closed Meeting of the City Council: 1 Only public business matters lawfully exempted from open meeting requirements by the Virginia Freedom of Information Act, and 2. Only such public bus,ness matters as were identified in the motion by which the Closed Meeting was convened were heard, discussed or considered in the meeting by the City Council.
