The award will be presented in Laurel, <br />Maryland, Wednesday, October 1,2003. <br /> <br />Councilman Pitts announceo the rescheduling of the Community Meeting on the <br />theme of City finances and budgeting at Woodrow Wilson High School, Monday, <br />September 29, 2003, at 7:00 p.m. <br /> <br />Vice Mayor Griffin spoke on the restraint that citizens of the City of Portsmouth have <br />shown during the cdsis of Hurricane Isabel. Also, he complimented the staff of the <br />City of Portsmouth, headed by Mr. McCoy, the Directors and the management. <br /> <br />Councilman Whitehurst spoke on the appreciation for the number of helpers that <br />came from outside of the City and the fantastic job city employees have done. <br /> <br />03 - 352 - Non-Agenda Speakers <br /> <br />1.
