Timothy Oksman: <br /> <br /> Councilman William E. Moody, Jr. opened the meeting with prayer, which was <br /> followed by the Pledge of Allegiance to the Flag. <br /> <br /> 03 - 183 - The following call for the meeting Was read: <br /> <br /> "Please attend a Called Meeting of the City Council to be held at Churchland <br /> High School, 4301 Cedar Lane, 7:00 p.m., Tuesday, May 20, 2003 for the purpose of a <br /> Community Meeting. <br /> <br /> By order of the Mayor." <br /> <br /> 03- 184 - Theme: Environmental Concerns <br /> <br />1. Catherine Woodard, 5737 Hawthorne Lane, spoke on mosquito control in <br /> Churchland. <br /> <br />2. Ed Giles, 1729 Bradford Terrace, spoke on stormwater management. <br /> <br />3. Heidi Ketler, 217 Chesapeake Avenue. spoke on dredging of Scotts Creek. <br /> <br />4 Martha Ann Creecy, 317 Dinwiddie Street, spoke in opposition to the elimination <br /> of recycling and inquired about judge for housing code violations. <br /> <br />5. Sarah Shuping, 1405 Marsh Wren Circle, spoke on buffer zone along River <br /> Point. <br /> <br /> On motion, meeting adjourned at 8:32 p.m. <br /> <br />Anita Y.
