Genttemen:-You~ Committee on Claims respectfully reports concerning the following m~tter referred to the Joint Committee on Claims by the Common Council July 9th: Petitiorm of A. L. ?lemming and R. R. Stublen to be eompensmted $100 each for injuries received at a fire, in discharge of their duties, ,July 21st last. We have ex~mined the ease of E. R. Stubien very carefully and would recommend that he be allowed $50 as compensation For the injuries received at said &ire.
