<br /> The chairman of the Public Property Committee stated that it was necessary to put a new section
<br />in the city jail boilerat a cost of $50, and his committee asked approval of the body for h~ving made
<br />the expenditure. The action of the Committee w~s approved.

<br /> The chairm~.n of the same committee stated also that his eom~mittee had asked Mr. B.~. ~ Smith to
<br />furnish them with plar~ for the new Clerk's office, and that he h~d promised to have the plans r~ady
<br />about the middle of January. No action thereon.

<br /> A communication was read from Captain Harry A. Brinkley in regard to storage room for guns of
<br />Grimes Battery, and was ordered to file.
