Gentlemen:--Your Fir~noe Committee respectfully meports herein as to the several mmtters referred to the Joint Fir~nee Committee November-19th and 20th. Referred by Board of Aldermen November 19%h. Reoommitted--for an amendment to that part of the Committee's report whieh reads: "Upon the same terms as to time For payment (o£ fire hose) as were obtained on the last preeeding purchase of As the Common Council has declined to amend that part of the report we have no recommenda- tion to m~ke thereon. &n appropriation of ¢1:200 For street cleaning. An appropriation of ¢600 is recommended ~nerefor. A reeommendation of the Board of Police Commissioners that polieem~n, J. H. Garris~ be paid for one day's time lost in August and ten dsys in September, on account of siekness~ ~25.59. Pro,ess.
