<br /> The statement h~ving been made that a bill of the Portsmouth St~r for $412.50 for advertising
<br />the delinquent tax for ~907,- had not been approved ~y the chairmen of the Finance 0ommittee because
<br />it was thought that the charge for advertising was in excess of the rate for s~me by $100, the rules
<br />were suspended and the bi-ll was allowed to amount of $300, leaving the balance of $112.50 to be ad-
<br />justed hereafter:
