Watts, <br /> <br />00RPORATE LI~ITS 0F THE 0IT~ OF PORTSMOUTH; PURSUANT TO <br />APPR0~ MARCH 10, 1905, <br /> <br /> Whereas, it is deemed desirable by the City of Portsmouth to annex certain territory lying in <br />the 0~unty of Norfolk, and hereinafter accurately described by metes and bounds; now, therefore, <br /> <br />1. Be it ordained by the 0ouncil of the 0ity of Portsmouth, That it desires to annex to the 0ity <br />of Portsmouth the territory now lying in the 0ounty of Norfolk and described by metes and bounds as <br /> <br />follows, to wit; <br /> Description of Territory. <br /> <br /> Be~inning at the southern line of the present limits of the 0ity of Portsmouth at a point in <br />theUnited States navy yard v~ll, on the eastern side of Third street, where the southern line of <br />Jefferson street, if extended eastwardly, would intersect the same; thence running southerly along <br />the said wall, and binding thereon, to the northern line of the United States Government property; <br />thence aloz~ and binding on the line of the United States Government property westerly and southerly <br />tea point on the eastern side of Green street, if the said street were extended southerly, where <br />the center line of the blocks between Summit'and Oenter avenues, if extended eastwardly, would in- <br />tersect the same; thence westward along said center line between Summit and 0enter avenues, and equi- <br />distant therefrom to a point in the block between A and B streets where the center line of the blocks <br />between Park and Richmond avenues would intersect the same if the said line between those avenues <br />were extended southerly in a straight line; thence northerly along said line, between Park andRich- <br />mend avenues, and equi-distant therefrom, to a point in the block between Duke and Henry streets one- <br /> <br />Ohairman, O.
