The report of the 0ommittee and the ordinance were adopted by the follow±rig yore, the vote bet lng the same for each: Ayes-- Hall, John E., Watts, Dashiell, Warren, Welton, Hall, J. H. Jr., Johnson, Leigh, Brinson, Wood, l0 0n motion of ~r. Warren, the ,~iayor was requested to approve of the ordinance at once, and the City Attorney to take immediate steps for putting it into execution. Nr. Welton moved that the Joint Finance 0ew~ittee be authorized to employ an assistant lawyer for the 0ity Attorneyin prosecuting the steps for annexation, if they should think it necessary so to do. ~he motion was adopted. On motion of~tv. Warren, the Joint Annexation 0°mmittee v,,~s authorized to have printed as many copies of the annexation ordinance and in such form as it may think necessary for distribution a- mong citizens in the territory it is proposed to anne~.
