Nawks~ the 01erkw~s instructed to return the certified checks to all unsue- <br /> eessi~_l bidders on paving. <br /> <br /> ~r. Johnson moved the appointment of a Board of Water Con~issioners, to consist of the <br /> <br /> City Engineer amd five discreet citizens. The motion was adopted. <br /> <br /> The oh~irmmn of the Finmnee 0ommittee offerred the roll,ring resolution: <br /> <br /> Resolved, Thmt the Treasure~ be and he is hereby authorized to renew the follow, lng notes: <br /> <br /> Due in the EeroD~nts & Farmers Bank 0otober 13th ten thousand ($10~000) dollars, November 10th <br /> seven thousand five hundred ($7~00) dollmrs, November l~th six thousand(~.~6,000) dollars; and due <br /> in the B~nk of Portsmouth 0etcher 13th three thousand ($3,000) dollars~, November 1st seven thousmnd <br /> five hundred ($y,B00) dollars, November 9th seven thousand ($7,000) dollars, November l~th six thou- <br /> sa~d ($6,000) dollmrs.
