Porter to be paid for ~ime lost from du~y, on ascount of sick- <br />ness November 7th, 8th, 9th, 10th and llth. <br /> <br /> It is recommended that Mr. Porter be paid for the time lost. <br /> <br /> Referred by Common Council October 13th. <br /> <br /> 2he advisability of furnishing the police force with a kodak. <br /> <br /> it is recommended that the police fores be furnished with a kodak at a cost of $25.00. <br /> The advisability of furnishing the poli~e force with 18 night stiaks and 6 "billies." <br /> <br /> It is recommended that the night sticks and "billies" be supplied at a-cost of $35.00. <br /> <br /> (Signed) L. 0. Booth & Bro. for supplying the Oily with medicines for. year 1909: <br /> Gratis Prescriptions, 5~ cents each; Proprietary and Patent medicines, 5~.~er cent. above cost. <br /> <br /> To award contract to Levy & Jacobs for supplying:clothing as follows: 16 suits for ~ite Men, <br /> at $? each; 15 suits for 0olored Men. at $6 each; 30 p~irs of suspenders, at 22 ee~ts per pair; un- <br /> der shirts and ~der drawers, S dozen of each kmn , at $6 per dozen each, o dozen top shirts, at $6 <br /> per dozen; 8 dozen pairs of socks, a~ $1 per dozen pairs; 30 hats, at $1 each. <br /> <br /> To authorize the, Joint Almshouse Committee to purchase shoes and blankets in open market for <br /> inmates of the Almshouse; provided the expenditure for said articles does net exceed $100.00~ <br /> <br /> To authorize the Joint 'Finance Oommittee ~c,~ instruct the Auditor to issue a duplicate warrant <br /> to M. ~. Hunt for $36, in place of a warrant for that amoun~ lost by. him; provided he give the Com- <br /> mitteea satisfactory bend to the Oity as indemnification for said lost w~rraut. <br /> <br /> To turn over to the School Board $28,800, the sai~ amount being the net proceeds from sale of <br /> the $30,000 of School Bonds. <br /> <br /> Third.
