<br /> On motion, the rules were suspended to receive a report from the Light and Street con, trees
<br />jointly, and to entertain bids for a franchise and contract to ligh~ the 0ity in accordance with

<br />'advertisement therefor.

<br />your honorable bodies estimates of cost of operating a municipal plant~ by electricians Stanbrough
<br />& Grant and by

<br /> These reports are presented without recommendation, but we suggest
<br />
<br />well as the reports of the-electricians be referred back to your con~uittees for further action and
<br />
<br />report.

<br />City and one bid was received, made by the Port~nouth & Norfolk Corporation, which bid was accord-
