No motion by the body thereon. <br /> <br /> The 0ity Se~ge~t info~med the Oouncil that he had appointed P. W. Squire as his deputy. <br /> <br /> No motion thereon by this body. <br /> <br /> On motion of ~r. Wel%on, the Lessee of the Fe~ies was ~equested to furnish the 0i%y with a <br />copy of the bond which he has furnished the Bo~ of Supervisors with, to go with the contract for <br />the lease. <br /> <br /> On motion of Nr. Hawks, ~- appropriation of $25 was made to the Ladies 0iris League to be used <br />by it on the streets. <br /> <br /> :Mr. P~rker moved that the Board of Aldermen be requested to meet with this body in a joint ses- <br />sion for the purpose of electing Police .Oommissioners and other Oily officers from the Si~h <br /> <br />seve~thwmrds.
