November 9, 1909. <br /> <br />on such days. <br /> It is recommended that the following named streets be swept at Night: <br /> High, from Oourt to Water; Middle, from High to South; Crawford, from King to South; King, <br />from Court to Middle; 0ounty, from N_iddle to Ora~ord; South, from OrawTord to ~ddle. <br /> <br />To have four barrels of ~hight-soil carried to-the oremator~ daily. Progress. <br /> <br /> To have a thoroughfare ru~ing north and south and one running east and west through Park View; <br />and to consider alsothe extension of Hatton street from G~asgow street to High, and Armstrong Street <br />to London. Progress. <br /> <br /> The condition of west end of Randolph street, <br /> tt is recommended~ that the we~t end of Randolph street be guttered and curbed and a side <br />walk'laid ~hereon~ st a-east of $534.00~ <br /> <br /> To map out a Judicious plam for paving. Progress. <br /> <br />Referred by Board of Aldermen, October 19th. <br /> <br /> The advisability of acquiring the landing at cast-end of High street, claimed by private par- <br />ties. An appropriation to replace street crossings-in the Fifth Ward, ~de <br />necessary to remove on account of laying sewerage pipes there. <br /> We have-concurred with the Finance 0ommittee in report on this matter. <br /> <br />Referred by 0ommon 0ou~eil ~eptember 14th, <br /> <br /> To prepare ~ ordinance to regulate the removal of garbage from the streets, Progress. <br /> <br /> The ~0mmittee further recommends that a contract be made with Huybert & D~&m for the removal <br />of street sweepings for one year; that a sufficient bond be required of them for the work; and that <br />a penalty be imposed on them for failure to execute their contract-promptly. <br /> <br /> That another street sweeper Be- purchased, as another one is needed to properly clean the paved <br />streets, and that $400, be approprma~ed for the purpose, <br /> <br /> That $500. be appropriated for the purchase of 10,000 vitrified ~aving bricks, <br />neede~ at this time, <br /> (Signed) E.B.
