Referred by Board of AldeTn~en Septe~oeT 21st. To lay a granolithic sidewalk on the south side of ~ett street, from Efi~ngham to Green. It is recommended that the ~ork be done at a cost of $130. out of Fifth Ward Previously referred. To acquire the land necessary for extending 0rawford street southward to make a junction with First street extended northward. We h~ve looked into this matter and find that there are %u~o pieces of property neeess~ry to be obta_ne~ for sa~d e~.ension, v~z. the property of B. Newgas and of J. O~ Emmerson~ The price asked for the Newg~s property- is $4.500. and for the E~me~son property. $~.500. It is recommended that the said properties be purchased at the p~_ces n~med Advisability of building a new bridge on the Gosport 0auseway. at the sout~.end of Washington street, and on Glasgow street.
