<br /> The report having been read the chai=m~n of t~e 0ommittee stated that the Council should exer-
<br />cise more th~n usual economy in expending the 0ityfunds this yea~r~ and. keeping that fact in mind,
<br />lzis Co~mittee had recommended no special appropriations whatsoever. ~hat in recommending a bond is-
<br />'sue of.$5~,000 Eot the erection of school building~ they had gone ~s far as they could go without
<br />~xceedinE the City's bond limit, nor could eve~hmt ~mount of school bonds be issued except by hold-
<br />mng up a part of the intended issue of bonds for street paving, dc.
<br /> After some discussion of the bond issue for school buildings, between the chairma~ of the Com-
<br />mittee., other members of the Council~ and Mr. ~Iara~all of the School Board, the recommended budgets
<br />~d the bond issue were adopted by the following vote, the vote being the sa~e for each:
