April !2, 1910. The report having been read ~r. Hawks moved that it lie on the table until the next regular meet- ing ef the Mr. Hutchins moved to amend, that award for the building be made to J. W.~D~vis and tha~ it be erected on the court house yard. The amendment by M~. Hutchihs w~s lost on the following tie vote: Ayes--Ha~?eY~Usl~o~.~Zeigh. Brinson. Hutehin~. Nays--Hall, Jne. Howard; Watts, Br~oks, Oorbitt. Hawks, Then the motion By ~r. Hawks w~s adopted by thefollowing vote: Ayes--Hall, Jno. Howard; Watts, Hanvey. Brooks, O0rbitt, Nays--~eIton, Leigh, B~inson, Hutchins, Messrs. Uilkins, Parker, Walker and'Neiggs not vo~ing. bid, Mr. Hutehins then r~ised the question as to whether Mr. Da~is' should not be returned him . Whereupon, Mr. Welton moved that said cheek be returned. The G~air ruled the motion of Mr. Welton to be out of order. certified check accompanying his Sewerage-- Hon. Common Council. It is recommended that ~he claim be not ~llo~ed: the Gas Gompany has been notified several _times to cut off g~s from Ar~or~Hall and ha~ not paid any attention to the notice.
