King, Johnny M. <br />Clemons, Bernard D. Griffin, Sr.,i James C. Hawks, Cameron C. <br />Pitts, V. Wayne Orton, City Manager, Stuart E. Katz, City <br />Attorney. <br /> <br />94-195 - The following call for the meeting:was read: <br /> <br /> "Please attend a Called Meeting of the City Council to be <br />held in the City Council Chamber, 6th floor of City Hall, 801 <br />Crawford Street, at 5:00 p.m., Monday, June 13, 1994, for the <br />purpose of a Public Work Session. <br /> <br /> In addition, you may consider a motion to go into an <br />Executive Session. <br /> <br />By order of the Mayor." <br /> <br />94-197 - The following items were discussed in the Public Work <br />Session: <br /> <br />1. Hampton Roads Chamber of Commerce's - Plan 2007 <br /> <br />2. Community Development Plan <br /> <br />3. Joint PPIC/IDA Meeting <br /> <br />Edward L. Oast, Jr., Chairman <br />Daniel W. Duncan <br />Steven L. Lynch <br />B. Anne Davis <br />Donald C. Kilgore, Counsel for PPIC/IDA <br /> <br /> Motion by Mr. Clemons, and seconded by Mr. Griffin to go <br />into Executive Session pursuant to provisions of Section 2.1-344 <br />of the Code of Virginia for the following: <br /> <br /> (1) Consideration of appointments to Boards and Commissions <br />by the City Council as permitted under Subsection (A) (1); <br /> <br /> (2) Discussion or consideration of the use or disposition <br />of publicly held real property in the Churchland portion of the <br />city as permitted under Subsection (A)(3). <br /> <br />The motion was adopted by unanimous vote. <br /> <br /> Motion by Mr. Clemons, and seconded by Mr. Pitts pursuant <br />to Section 2.1-344.1 of the Code of Virginia certifying that to <br />the best of the Council member;s knowledge during the <br />i~ediately preceding Executive Session of the City Council: <br /> <br /> (1) Only public business matters lawfully exempted from <br />open meeting requirements by the Virginia Freedom of Information <br />Act, and <br /> <br /> (2) Only such public business matters as were identified <br />!~ the motion by which the Executive Session was convened, were <br />heard, discussed or considered in the meeting by the City <br />.Council. <br /> <br /> <br />
