39'8 June 21, 1994 At a Called Meeting of~thelC!ty CoUncil held on Tuesday, June 21, 1994, there were p~sent: Mayor Gloria O. Webb, *Vice Mayor Lee E, King, Johnny M. Clemons, **John H. Epperson, Bernard D. Griffin, Sr., James C. Hawks, Cameron C. Pitts, V. Wayne Orton, City Manager, Stuart E. Katz, City Attorney. 94-225 The following call for the meeting was read: "Please attend a Called Meeting of the City CoUncil to be held in the 2nd floor Conference Room at the Central Fidelity Bank Building at 4:00 p.m., Tuesday, June 21, 1994, for the purpose of a Public Work Session. In addition, you may consider a motion to go into an Executive Session. By order of the Mayor." Motion by Mr. Clemons, and seconded by Mr. Epperson to go into ExeCutive Session pursuant to,provisions of Section 2.1-344 of the Code of Virginia for the following: (1) Discussion or consideration of the use or disposition of publicly held property in the Churchland portion of the city, as permitted under Subsection (A)(3). The motion was adopted by unanimous vote. Motion by Mr. Epperson, and seconded by Mr. Pitts pursuant to Section 2.1-344.1 of the Code of Virginia certifying that to the best of the Council member's knowledge during the i~ediately preceding Executive Session of the City Council: (1) Only public business matters lawfully exempted from open meeting requirements by the Virginia Freedom of Information Act, and (2) Only such public business matters as were identified in the motion by which the Executive Session was convened, were heard, discussed or considered in the meeting by the City Council.
