<br />~i~h Ward Local Board, caused by the death of V~m: H..Gaskins a~.d the resignation of Win; H. Whitson.
<br /> The motion was adopted, and then ~. Eur~y nominated Ssmuel 5[. Lewis smd Walter H. Stafford
<br />as me~oers of said Boarc!~. There being no other nominations, ~tessrs. Lewis and Stafford were elected

<br />There being no objections there~o, the following other matters were considered:
<br />
<br /> First. A oommunicatio~ from the seventh Ward Local Board was re~d, Calling,attention
<br />dangerous condition of the oridge at the intersection of Lincoln,, ~and ~a~Ogton. Str~et~ if extended,
<br />a~ud requ~est' was made that O~n appropriation of $700 be made at this point to substitute a concrete
<br />culvert for the present bridge.
<br /> on motion, the co~u3~ca~ion was referred to the Fins~uce and Street Committees
<br />
<br />second. A request from the Seventh Ward Local Board that an appropriation of $600. be made for
<br />the employmen~ of a sanitaa~y I~pector and to meet a deficit in street expenses for the current year.
<br /> Also, that the Auditor be instructed to place to credit of the appropriation fore, Streets %h~ ~bal-
<br />ance on hand of $8,975.09 as shown by his June resort.
<br /> These matters were referred to the Join~ FLuance Committee.
